For several years, John Bachelor worked in a counseling agency on the seventh floor of an office building in the heart of downtown Seattle. Many of John’s clients found it stressful to brave the downtown Seattle traffic, find a parking space, make their way through crowds of people they didn’t know, find the right office on the right floor, and then contend with a busy waiting room. This was added stress they didn’t need! It became one of John’s goals to provide an office facility that would be relaxing, private and personal. John and Suzanne have now remodeled their home to accommodate the StreamTree facility. It is in a quiet setting away from the bustle of office buildings and shopping centers, on a wooded ravine just up from the northeastern shore of Lake Washington. With ample parking a few steps away, the front entrance leads to a large, private waiting room where a wall of windows looks out on the wooded ravine and a little stream. There is coffee, tea and hot chocolate on hand, a broad selection of current magazines, and a large aquarium along one wall. John’s counseling office is right around the corner from the waiting room. A restroom, of course, is also close at hand. The suite is private, warm, and made to achieve just the right balance of comfortable and professional. The office is located off Juanita Drive, close to the northern city limits of Kirkland. Click on the link for driving directions. |
